
Jigme Yong-Song from Eastern Tibet is
coming to the USA for a life-saving operation.

Dr. John Odom and Jigme Yong-Song in the surgical waiting room at
The Medical Center of Aurora, prior to Jigme having his final operation
on 1/15/02 to have the metal rods removed from his spine. Dr. Odom
and the hospital donated all services.

Dr. John Odom performs surgery on Jigme Yong-Song. Dr. Odom donated
his services, as well as putting together the team of doctors and other
medical professionals necessary for this life-saving spinal fusion.

Dr. John Odom and Dr. John Barker perform a spinal fusion on Jigme Yong-Song
at the Medical Center of Aurora. The hospital donated its facility and
nursing
care for Jigme's 3 week long stay. There was a total of 3 operations during
this
time. Jigme had to return in one year to have the metal rods removed.

a little comfort during a very difficult 10 days of recovery
in intensive care at The Medical Center of Aurora.
