A Letter from Tsering

Hey Jennifer and everybody,

How are you doing? Hope everything is going well. Here I am doing just fine and my therapy is going well. So is my school. So no need to worry . Today I just want to say that I would like to thank you very much for things which you have done for me. I am really very grateful for it.

I have never thought that one day I am going to get some help for my health problems. There is no way to cure my problems in India, even if it does, there is no way for my parents to afford it as I am from a poor family. My mom have five kids and I am the second oldest. I have two brother and two sister.
One day, I heard that I am going to have my treatment in U.S. and I was so surprised to hear it. When I asked who is going to help, they told me that there is an organization called All Together Now International. I thought it was really nice of them. They help kids without any profit and I thought it was so wonderful.

You have saved my life. Without you, I might be still in India and my health getting worse and worse. So I would like to say thank you very much for everything.

Now I had done my surgery at Shriner's Hospital in Utah and they were really very nice. Every staff members over here are so nice to me. I have a back surgery and limb lengthning. My back surgery was spinal fusion and as for my leg, my right leg is shorter. So they put a device on my leg for lengthning to be equal to other leg. I need to wear that device for atleast five month.

These surgeries really make a difference in my life. I am so glad that I got an opportunity to do my surgery in US and feel much happier. When I was in India, I always have worry in my mind because of my health problems. Nowadays, I feel much better and I had even learned some lessons.

Lastly, I would like to thank you very much for everything. I also would like to say thanks for the volunteers and people who donated at ATNI organization. You are also the ones who helped me too. Your donations are so helpful. Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I really appreciate your help. Concluding here with lots of love and hugs. If there is any mistake in my letter, I am really very sorry. See you soon!

Love always, Tsering Dolma
