Surgery for Kids

In the most serious medical situations, children with life threatening conditions cannot be treated in their home country. This is often due to the lack of sophisticated hospital facilities and expert medical practitioners.

In these cases, All Together Now International will set up operations or other medical care in the USA and bring the child to the doctor or surgeon. This is a complicated process, often taking months or years to get the paperwork to exit the country of origin, enter the USA, receive an operation and recover sufficiently to return.

This also requires a tremendous amount of financial resources, to transport the child, care for the child in a host home and provide the necessary medical care.

But, it is worth the time, money and effort. Each child is precious. And for those who have been involved in working to help one of these children, the reward is far greater for the helpers.

You can help by:

• volunteering your home as a host family
• volunteering your time to drive children to medical appointments
• organize a fund raiser
• making financial contributions to help the next child to live.
