You Can Make A Difference, But Together We Can Make A Change

On the streets of Bhodanath, outside of Kathmandu, and old man sits and waits.

 

A woman from Dolpo, a remote region of Nepal near the Tibetan border, has walked for a month to reach Kathmandu. Even though she has no skills or education, she hopes to find work in the city.

 

A mother and her children smile, bundled up in blankets in the winter chill.

 

Hands placed together and the word "namaste". It is the universal greeting in Nepal. It is hello and good bye. It is the recognition of each of us in the other.
